Mere Thelema, a new online journal dedicated to thoughtful writing on Thelema, religion, culture, philosophy, politics, education, art, and the common life, has officially launched as of 1 June 2026. The journal exists to provide a serious, accessible, and intellectually ambitious space for writers and readers who believe Thelema deserves sustained engagement beyond the boundaries of occult subculture alone.
Launching alongside the journal is the Mere Thelema Manual of Style (and its Student Supplement), a new editorial resource created to support clear, consistent, and responsible writing across the publication. Together, the journal and style manual establish the foundation for Mere Thelema’s broader publishing vision: essays, reviews, reflections, and creative work written with clarity, depth, and generosity, while engaging the real questions of spiritual practice, public life, artistic imagination, and human flourishing.
