The Thelema Foundation’s developmental roadmap outlines a growing body of programs, resources, and initiatives designed to serve the broader Thelemic community. From education and spiritual formation to civic thought, family resources, textual study, and institutional support, these projects are being developed to help Thelema mature beyond isolated practice and into a serious, lived tradition capable of sustaining individuals, groups, and communities over time.
Mere Thelema
Mere Thelema is a peer-reviewed, curated journal that treats Thelema as a serious, lived philosophy, gathering clear, irenic voices to apply the law to real human issues and concerns, enabling Thelema to speak credibly beyond its occult niche and take its place in the wider cultural landscape.
Thelemica
Thelemica is an online research and study platform dedicated to the Holy Books of Thelema and the broader textual tradition that surrounds them. It offers carefully proofed texts, a dynamic concordance, and tools for close reading, citation, comparison, and sustained inquiry. Built for readers, practitioners, students, and scholars alike, Thelemica helps make serious engagement with Thelema’s central texts more accessible, organized, and alive.
The Wayfarer Project
The Wayfarer Project is a low-key, targeted program designed to provide practices for spiritual formation (Ars Vivendi). It moves Thelema out of the performative ritualism and into the lived experience of a lifestyle and spiritual worldview to be taken seriously. It focuses on six primary areas of discipline: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, relational, and social.
Lamp & Compass
Lamp & Compass is an educational and pedagogical platform for Thelemic (and adjacent) families, whether their needs are a robust homeschooling curriculum or merely supplemental materials for existing educational routines. It is centered around two guiding principles: the lamp, which represents learning, inner light, reason, and revelation; and the compass, which represents orientation, will, path, and responsible and intelligent movement through the world.
The Sovereign Commons
The Sovereign Commons is a civic and political think tank grounded in Thelemic principles for public life, social imagination, and the future of human flourishing. Guided by the motto Nostrum Futurum in Stellis — “Our future is in the stars” — it explores how liberty, responsibility, sovereignty, and shared life might be reimagined beyond the exhausted binaries of modern politics. Through policy research and cultural analysis, The Sovereign Commons seeks to develop a serious Thelemic contribution to civic thought and the common good.
